Her favorite exhibit at the aquarium was the jellyfish, and this moment was mine.
Bubbles Interrupted
Summer fun isn't complete without a good ole' fashioned bubble contest - who could make the biggest, most colorful bubbles or catch them on the wand again without it popping. Brutus, Sophia and I were tied, moments away from the champion bubble round, when a slight distraction made its way in to the background... and it's way better than I imagined a bubble photo to be.
The best thing about lifestyle photography is that these unplanned, unposed, spontaneous moments can not be recreated no matter how hard we try. We're either prepared to capture it, or it's lost forever to the corners of our imagination. It's decisive, and simply not the same moments before or after this treasured view. Wouldn't you like me to observe in this way for you, too?
The View

Rosary
When parents were invited to one of the final faith formation classes for the school year tohelp students make their own rosary, I wasn't surprised when I saw her holding her new beads in this way... just as she had seen the older girls she admired...
Cookie Isle
Something tells me that to this peanut, the cookie isle must look MASSIVE. We almost came home with mint flavored Oreo's. Luckily I came to my senses.
